Yoga: Restorative Transformation. 46 min. Int. & Adv. CdR. OYT #yoga #iyengaryoga #chairyoga

By | June 6, 2020

Welcome to this transformative practice that supports deep openings and connection with peaceful fields of consciousness. Beginning with a truly delicious and unique layered sequencing of supine hip/groin/abdomen releasers interspersed with leg and chest openers. Allow the verbal cues to guide you in this fantastic experience of going deeper than ever before. This prepares the body and mind for the second half of the practice: chair work specifically aimed at deeply releasing, opening and penetrating the dorsal spine and sternum chest. The chair is a unique tool for this kind of work as it gives us support for long holds where true transformation can take place. A wonderful opportunity for deep healing! If you are a teacher you’ll love the potential to dissect parts of this class into mini-classes adding new layers to your expression of study and knowledge. Particular emphasis is given throughout to understanding the relationship between inner and outer groin, and the relationship between dorsal spine and opening of the chest. Hope that you’ll let me know your experience. Made with love. X Cat

If you’d like to support my work I’m grateful for every little donation 🙏🏼
NOTE – During menstruation please avoid all strong Twistings, Core Work and Inversions.
