Hi all,

Welcome back to the Lower Back Pain Yoga Series! This is the second episode of the series and is designed to help you further open up the lower back area and relieve any tension and pain. Lower back pain is something many of us suffer from for various reasons. It is important to dedicate time whenever we can to open up the lower back area with gentle stretches that help to decompress the spine and relieve accumulated tension. I hope you find this class very helpful and feel much better afterwards!

I would like to remind you to please listen to your body throughout the entire practice, if you need to take a moment to recover, please go ahead and do so and join back in whenever you’re ready. Also, if you experience a lot of tension in any of the standing poses, please feel free to keep a deeper bend in your knees, as it will help to lessen the intensity of the pose. If you are experiencing tension when you are seated, please roll up a towel or a blanket, or use a block to sit on top. This will remove extra pressure from the knees and the hips and will make the poses less intense. Lastly, if you have any back injuries or injuries at all, I would highly recommend that you speak to your doctor first before engaging in any physical activity.

I hope you find this class helpful and from my heart to yours,
Namaste!
