This Yoga practice is about keeping Martial Arts or other SPORTS FLEXIBILITY, with Modified Intense Yoga Sessions (full and partial classes; and also my own LONG HOLD “Yin” style of yoga with up to 1 minute stretches – to maintain flexibility and to counter joint and muscle pain as we age).
YOGA: I am Certified by Delhi Yoga in INDIA, qualifying for Registration with the Yoga Alliance of America at the Advanced Level. I have taught for more than twenty years.
MARTIAL ARTS: I hold 3 BLACK BELTS (in Karate & TaeKwonDo styles of martial arts). I am currently working on my 4th & 5th Black Belts (in Jiu Jitsu & Muay Thai Kickboxing).
I am also a Surgical Nurse (with a degree in Operating Room Technology – Military Trained); a Certified Personal Trainer; Certified Nutritionist through NESTA (The National Endurance Sports Training Association); and a former Assistant Physical Therapist.
