Improve Comfort in Meditation with this 20 Minute Yoga to Prepare Your Body

When you can loosen up and stretch tight areas, you give your mind the opportunity to relax. Practice this 20-minute yoga session to prepare your body and improve comfort in meditation.

If you have practiced meditation before, whether you are new to seated meditation or a long-time practitioner, it can be difficult to sit for long periods of time comfortably. It is only a matter of time before your mind becomes distracted by a sore knee or hip, you sense your leg falling asleep, or your back starts to ache.
This 20-minute practice will address some of the common areas that might become physical distractions during seated meditation.

Enjoy and let us know how it feels for you. All you need is a mat and your willingness to make the time for your practice.

Be sure to listen to your body and move in a way that feels good and does not cause pain. Please leave a comment if you have any questions. This type of practice supports healthy posture and can be a powerful tool to help you manage, and in some cases, reverse chronic pain, but it is not a complete substitute for medical care. Please consult your doctor if you have pain to assist you with a successful plan.
