Welcome to this brightening, lifting and clearing practice which is all about bathing the immune system in pranic bliss, clearing our minds, opening our hearts and re-igniting energy through restoration. The sequence starts gently, honouring the carapace of the outer body with a series of Supta Padangusthasana Cycles before moving into deeper preparations of Supta Padmasana, Matysasana (on block) and Bharadvajasana in Padmasana. And now that we have been made ready for more intensity and penetration we transition to the chair! I absolutely love the chair! It is the ultimate blissful place in which to fully receive the beauty of backbends. Our journey takes us through a satisfyingly long exploration of Viparita Dandasana Cycle, Eka Pada Viparita Dandasana and Sarvangasana from which we emerge transformed. After gently twisting ourselves out with some Bharadvajsanas, we end the practice by integrating all of these incredible shifts and openings in a healing long Viparita Karani, coming out gently – in stages of Supta Sukhasanas before emerging – cleansed and fresh, for a new day. Let me know how you felt and how it worked for you. I always love to hear from you. Take good care! With love, X Cat

If you’d like to support my work I’m grateful for every little donation 🙏🏼
NOTE – During menstruation please avoid all strong Twistings, Core Work and Inversions.
