We carry so much stress and tension in our bodies throughout the day. It’s important to take some time before sleep to recalibrate and invite some gentle stretching to our muscles. We’ll start with a focus on slowing down our breathing and some soothing self-massage techniques, before slowly sinking into some juicy stretches that will create space in our joints. I highly recommend this yoga class right before bed as a way to calm the nervous system and unlock and release whatever may have built up in your body throughout the day. Repeat as often as needed, and don’t be afraid to pause in sink into the stretches longer if your body is calling for it!
