Welcome to the intermediate series of classes. These practices are a little more challenging for your strength, flexibility and balance.
This is a 60 minute vinyasa flow. Part 4. A challenging, steady paced, calm flow.
Begin with a sequence to mobilise your shoulders & spine. Warm up with classic sun salutations (Surya A & B), flow through familiar standing postures (warriors, side angle, triangle, lunges, twists, wide forward folds, pyramid, revolved triangle), arm balances (side plank & crow options) backbends (camel, 1/2 bow), core and an option to invert toward the end of practice. Cool down with a pigeon variation, reclined twist and forward fold. A grounding & complete flow with rest stops along the way to maintain an even, unhurried breath.
For practice, you may wish to have a block (for revolved Triangle) and a blanket for a modified inversion if that’s your preference.
