This is a 60 minute mandala vinyasa flow yoga class. A great introductory class to a sequence of postures that has you circling around your mat. It moves at a low speed, slow flow pace and focusses on opening your hips, hamstrings and returning range of motion to your spine – a perfect morning flow. Class begins with a 8 minute seated meditation, followed by some slow shoulder and spinal movement to gently coax your body to find space and ease. Class builds in a ladder style, circular flow where we build a sequence and add on as we flow. Expect, lunges, twists, crabs and 1/2 splits punctuated by seated forward folds. Class concludes with eagle arms and either a quad stretch or seated hip groin stretch and straight leg forward fold and shavasana.
