Yin Yoga for the Side Body will stretch and compress the liver and gallbladder meridians, or the inner and outer sides of the body. This yoga sequence can help relieve neck tension, shoulder pain, hip pain, or even relieve stress related tension headaches or sinus headaches brought on by seasonal allergies. This yin yoga practice is perfect for the springtime, as the spring season is related to the Liver and Gallbladder meridians and organs, according to Chinese Meridian Theory.
*Each pose will be held for 2-3 minutes; there will be long periods of silence while holding each posture.
*The only props I will be teaching with today are 2 blocks, but feel free to use any other props as you see best for your body. Enjoy!
